Shipping Executive
Medan (Sumatera Utara) - Komplek MMTC
Responsibilities:
- Control on shipping arrangement for Medan Office in excellent condition
- Responsible for shipment arrangement on ex-works, FOB from Principals by FCL or LCL with different transportation mode, eg. sea, air, land
- Ensure shipping documents are error free, with insurance coverage certificate before distribute to the respective parties
- Arrange import shipments for local delivery; ensure goods are received on time and in good condition
- Compile import duties and taxes as per correct product classification, custom tariff code, etc.
- Handle customer’s complaint on delivery and damages goods; arrange for insurance claims and necessary action where appropriate
- Responsible to source and negotiate the best freight pricing; monitor and review service provider’s performance
- Generate and analyse monthly logistics reporting
Requirements:
- Posses Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business/Trade, Logistics, Warehouse Distribution, Supply Chain or any related field
- At least 2-3 years’ related working experience preferable from FMCG or food trade services
- Good knowledge in International Commercial Term (INCO term 2000), payment terms, international trade and customs regulations
- Familiar with all aspects of shipping, import, export, customs procedures and documentation
- Resourceful, proactive, assertive, meticulous, and with the ability to multi-tasks and thrive in fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and manage stress positively
- Good in English (written & spoken)
- Excellent skills in Microsoft office applications
- The position based at Medan, Indonesia
